Sarban Mail

Your mail, on your own computer.

Sarban Mail keeps every message in a file on your own machine. It opens instantly, it works with the mailbox you already have, and none of your mail passes through us — because there is no us in the middle.

In private testing. Nothing to download yet.

What it is

A mail application, not a service.

You sign in to the mailbox you already have — Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, or your own host. Sarban Mail talks to it directly from your computer, the same way any mail application does, and keeps what it downloads in a database in your own home folder.

There is no Sarban account to create, no cloud to sync to, and no server of ours that ever holds a message of yours.

Fast because it is local

Your mail is already on the machine. Opening a message is reading a file, not waiting on a network.

Finds the details

Amounts, dates, reference numbers, tracking numbers — pulled out of a message as it arrives, so you can find them again months later.

Reads it on your machine

The part that pulls out those details runs on your computer. No message is uploaded anywhere to be understood.

Quiet by default

Remote images stay blocked until you press to load them, so a sender does not learn you opened it unless you decide.

What leaves your computer

Four things. That is the whole list.

We cannot read your mail, because we never have it. Delete the application and its folder, and nothing of yours is left anywhere for anyone to hold.

Where it runs

Built for the machine in front of you.

Sarban Mail is being built for desktop first, with phones to follow. It is written to assume as little as possible about the machine it is on, so the same application can run wherever your mail needs to be.

If you would like to be told when there is something to install, write to hello@sarbanmail.com. That address goes to a person, and the list is not used for anything else.

Sarban Mail is made by Sarban LLC.
